Early Years Programme

Early Years Programme (Playgroup to Kindergarten)

At American Lyceon International School, our Early Years Programme is designed to give children a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where young learners aged 3 to 5 can explore, discover, and grow with confidence.

Our approach is based on the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, focusing on learning through play, creativity, and hands-on experiences. This method helps children develop essential early skills in language, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving while enjoying a joyful learning journey.

We believe that early childhood is the most important stage of development. That is why our classrooms are carefully designed with modern learning resources, interactive activities, and child-friendly spaces that encourage curiosity and active participation.

Our trained early years educators focus on each child individually, supporting their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development. Through structured play, storytelling, art, music, and group activities, children learn teamwork, confidence, empathy, and independence from an early age.

We also emphasize Whole Child Development, ensuring that every learner grows not only academically but also socially and emotionally. A strong focus on safety, care, and positive engagement creates a secure environment where children feel happy and motivated to learn.

In addition to core learning, we introduce early exposure to literacy, numeracy, science concepts, and creative expression, preparing children for a smooth transition into primary education.

At American Lyceon International School, our Early Years Programme builds the perfect foundation for future academic success by nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.
